Arizona Diamondbacks vs Atlanta Braves
Start Time: 1:35 PM EST
Two of the hottest teams in baseball finish off their only series of the season tomorrow afternoon in Hotlanta, as the Atlanta Braves host the Arizona Diamondbacks at Truist Park. Both teams have identical 19-11 records over their past 30 games heading into Saturday’s action.
Tomorrow also marks the third time this season that former Braves All-Star pitcher Michael Soroka starts against his former team. Soroka is having a bounce-back season for the Snakes and has been solid against the Braves this year, allowing three runs in nine innings.
Atlanta counters with fellow former All-Star Bryce Elder, who, outside of getting shellacked in his last start, was on a hot run for the team. The biggest handicapping for this game, however, probably comes down to where it is being played – at Truist Park. The Braves have a 41-22 record playing in front of their home fans, the best mark in the National League and the second-best in the majors.
That makes the Atlanta Braves, on a very nice moneyline, my best bet to wrap up the weekend.
