New York Yankees vs Toronto Blue Jays
Start Time: 7:15 PM EST
Yet….I’m going back to the New York Yankees well once again tomorrow. Fool me once, and all that stuff. It should be fine, right? The Yankees are good after all – a top five team in the majors according to advanced stats.
And the Toronto Blue Jays? Well, they suck this season. But they have been better lately, which doesn’t make a bet on the Yankees a sure thing, hence the playable line on them. However, the Jays are below .500 at home, and the Yankees are one of the majors top road teams.
Perhaps more importantly, tomorrow’s pitching matchup is Gerrit Cole for the visitors going up against Toronto’s Shane Bieber. A battle between two former Cy Young winners. Except, only one of them is good this season, that being Cole, who has allowed three earned runs over his past three starts (18.2 innings) and struck out 21 in that span.
The Yankees on a very decent moneyline is my best bet for Friday.
