If you’ve been following along on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network’s website, you know that I love building my NFL futures portfolio with some Fast Futures bets. These are unique bets that focus on a future that you don’t have to necessarily wait all season for a payout on. Today we’re looking at some quarterback passing bets. We’re discussing which players will qualify for the next 400+ yard passing game. Let’s take a look at some of the top candidates!
2026 NFL Fast Futures Bets: Next Player To Record 400+ Pass Yards In A Game
Joe Burrow (+900)
The first 400-yard passer to discuss for our NFL fast futures bet is Joe Burrow. He’s the favorite to accomplish the feat first. However, it’s still a +900 payout. As with all Burrow-related bets and fantasy football analysis, his health is the thing to watch for.
However, when he is healthy, Burrow has accomplished a 400+ yard passing game seven different times in his career. The last one was in December of 2024. He has two receivers who can do a lot of damage in Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
The Bengals open the season against the Bucs. Then they face the Texans and the Steelers. Not a great start. However, then they have games against the Jaguars and the Dolphins. The Jaguars game could be a shootout. Meanwhile, the Dolphins defense may struggle.
Burrow is a favorite for a reason. He can sling the ball and has the weapons. +900 is worth a sprinkle, especially because you can take a couple of other passers and still win if just one of them hits.
Dak Prescott (+1000)
The next 400-yard passer for our NFL fast futures bets is Dak Prescott. Cowboy haters like Sean and Kramer may laugh at this one. However, Dak has two top receivers in CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. He’s also thrown for over 400 yards ten different times! Granted, the last time was in 2023. Much like Joe Burrow, a lot will hang in the balance of Dak’s health.
The Cowboys have multiple games that Dak could potentially accomplish this in the first three weeks. That includes games against two division rivals, the Giants and Commanders, as well as the Ravens. I’m circling that game against the Commanders as a potential game he cashes us in a nice 10/1 right away.
Matthew Stafford (+1100)
Next for our 400-yard passer to discuss in the NFL futures bets is Matthew Stafford. Stafford has thrown for over 400 yards 11 different times. Including last year in December, when he had a game with 457 yards against the Seattle Seahawks.
This will all ride on the balance of Puka Nacua and whether he’s healthy. On top of that, there are murmurs that Nacua could face suspension for some of his offseason antics. Whether there’s weight to those is yet to be seen.
Looking at the Rams’ schedule, they open up right away against division rivals San Francisco 49ers. That game alone could be a game where Stafford exceeds 400 passing yards. They also have their fifth game against the Bills, which could be a shootout. Right after that, they play the Cardinals. Stafford is +1100. I won’t consider taking him in my NFL fast futures for the 400-yard passer bets until I know the fate of Puka Nacua, both suspension- and health-wise.
Josh Allen (+2800)
When we’re placing NFL fast futures bets in our portfolio, it’s always fun to have a couple of longshots. I browsed past Brock Purdy, Patrick Mahomes, Caleb Williams, and Sam Darnold. There sat Josh Allen at +2800.
Allen has four games where he’s thrown for over 400 yards. Sure, the last one was in 2022. However, this is going to be a new Bills team and new offense. I expect DJ Moore to get a ton of targets and be able to produce with those. Not to mention, looking at the Bills’ schedule, I think there could be a possibility of some shootouts very early on.
Their Week 1 game against the tough Texans’ defense won’t be the game. However, after that, they have the Lions, the Chargers, the Patriots, and the Rams. Any one of those games could turn into shootouts where Allen is throwing the ball 30+ times.
