We got our first taste of NFL football for the 2026 season last week during the Hall of Fame Game. With plenty more preseason games coming up, the season is quickly approaching. However, there’s still plenty of time to get in our NFL Futures bets! The NFL Fast Futures section has been something I’ve frequented often. Today we’re looking to see if there are any NFL futures bets worth making in the “Any Player X+” categories.
2026 NFL Fast Futures: Are Any Player X+ Bets Worth It?
What Are Any Player X Bets In NFL Fast Futures?
The one good thing about this NFL futures is that you’re not betting on any single individual player. These are all yardage milestones that any player could reach. If they do and you bet “Yes”, you cash your bet. You can also bet “No”. However, the No’s are pretty juiced as these are all high milestones.
That’s the next problem. They are all very high milestones! So, you have to ask yourself. Are any of the Any Player X+ bets worth adding to your NFL futures portfolio? Let’s take a look at them and discuss.
Any Player To Have 350+ Rush Yards After 3 Weeks (+130 For Yes)
This first Any Player X+ bet has the best odds for “No” and the lowest odds for “Yes”. For this one to hit, we’re looking for any player to have 350+ rushing yards after three weeks. Last year, only one running back was close. That was Jonathan Taylor.
However, there were a handful of running backs that did exceed 350+ rushing yards in a three-week span. It just didn’t happen in the first three weeks last year. For example, James Cook ran for 357 yards between Weeks 2 and 4. Rico Dowdle went for 421 yards between Weeks 4 and 6 and 468 yards from Weeks 5 to 7.
My point is, it’s a real possibility. At +130, I’m putting a unit on at least one player to do it. I’m also throwing a small sprinkle on any player to have 400+ rushing yards after 3 weeks at +650. It’s not as likely. However, I just talked about Rico Dowdle exceeding 400 yards in three weeks. If Rico Dowdle can do it, a stud like Jahmyr Gibbs can. Especially since they’ll likely not have Isaiah Pacheco in Week 1. Jonathan Taylor, Bijan Robinson, and James Cook are all guys that could accomplish this feat and cash our NFL futures bet.
Any Player To Have 450+ Receiving Yards After 3 Weeks (+650)
The next NFL futures under Any Player X+ bet is any player to have 450+ receiving yards after three weeks. The payout is great at +650. However, this is a much bigger number than 350+ rushing yards. We are in a league of passing, though. So can any of the current players exceed 450 yards in the first three weeks?
The most likely culprits to hit this are Puka Nacua or Jaxon Smith-Njigba. However, you have to fast forward all the way to Week 14 to find the first player to exceed 450 receiving yards in a three-week span. That was Puka Nacua with 573 receiving yards. He had 453 receiving yards from Weeks 15-17 as well.
He was the only one to accomplish the feat. The no is juiced to -1400. Therefore, it’s not worth taking. Is the +650 worth it? With just one player accomplishing this last year and offenses ramping up early in the season, this one just doesn’t seem plausible. I’d avoid it unless you have a bonus bet that you want to ride for fun. For the record, they also have 500+ receiving yards after 3 Weeks. Puka Nacua did do that once last year. However, it has to be in the first three weeks. The payout is +4000.
Any Player To Have 1100+ Pass Yards After 3 Weeks (+250)
The final NFL futures on the Any Player X+ bets to look at is regarding passing yards. For this one, you’re banking on any player to have 1100+ passing yards after the first three weeks. The price of +250 makes this one seem more attainable. However, I’m not so sure.
Last year, it happened once. Matt Stafford threw for 1,106 yards between Weeks 15 and 16. Four other quarterbacks eclipsed 1,000 yards in three weeks. However, none of them made the 1,100-yard mark. They were Jared Goff, Dak Prescott, Jacoby Brissett, and Joe Flacco.
This is the NFL. Anything is possible. However, +250 isn’t a good enough value in my opinion to cross our fingers for a quarterback to have multiple shootouts in the first three weeks. I’m passing on this one. I realize that’s only giving one bet out. However, one of the biggest things for sports betting is to utilize smart bankroll management. Placing your bets on these bigger numbers just doesn’t seem that smart.
