Minnesota Twins vs Milwaukee Brewers
Start Time: 7:10 PM EST
We have some Central Division action going down tomorrow in Brew City, as the National League’s Milwaukee Brewers host the American League’s Minnesota Twins. The two squads have already played a three-game slate in the Twin Cities earlier this season, with the Brewers taking two of three.
That’s what Milwaukee does to most teams, generally – take two of three. The majors’ best team, the Brewers, have a .626 winning percentage, and have the third-best home record in the league (so I guess that’s good news for the Twins – at least it isn’t the best!).
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before – Minnesota will be without their top player, Byron Buxton, for the series as he has yet to resume any training after suffering a hip injury. The Twins are only 16-18 without the multi-time All-Star this season, and 3-5 since he most recently hit the IL.
Milwaukee also has a hot pitcher starting tomorrow, Robert Gasser (good last name for a pitcher), who has only allowed four earned runs over his past 16 innings. It all adds up to Milwaukee on the moneyline being my best bet for Saturday.
