Montreal Canadiens vs Carolina Hurricanes
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
After needing overtime to squeak out their first two wins in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Carolina Hurricanes put their feet down on the Montreal Canadiens’ collective throats in Game 4 in Montreal, winning 4-0 and taking a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. They’ll look to secure a date with the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Finals tomorrow night at home in Raleigh.
And I expect the Canes to take care of business on their home ice. It took them a little bit to get out of the gate in this series, maybe due to the long layoff before it, but Carolina is clicking now and has shown they are the superior team in the East. The Habs got a road win in this series, the only team to do so in Carolina these playoffs, so I don’t expect them to repeat the trick.
