Boston Celtics vs Philadelphia 76ers
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
After a 32-point win in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference First Round series against the Philadelphia 76ers, it looked like the Boston Celtics were going to roll through the first round. Then the Sixers punched them in the mouth in Game 2 on their home floor.
Now the series shifts to the City of Brotherly Love, yet Boston remains a large favorite. I think that’s a mistake. My line for Game 3 is only Boston -4, so I’m taking the Sixers on the spread as a home dog.
Best Bet: Philadelphia +7.5 (-105)
Los Angeles Lakers vs Houston Rockets
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
In perhaps the biggest shocker of the playoffs thus far, the severely undermanned Los Angeles Lakers took both games at home to open up a 2-0 series lead over the Houston Rockets, as the series shifts to Houston tomorrow night.
And the news gets better for the Lakers, with Austin Reaves being upgraded to questionable to return tomorrow night, and Kevin Durant being downgraded to questionable with an ankle sprain. My line is Houston -7.5 (if KD plays), so I’m taking the Lakers as road dogs.
