St. Louis Blues vs Utah Mammoth

For the third time in the past four years, the St. Louis Blues will be hitting the golf course early instead of playing in the playoffs. After 92 and 96 point seasons the past two years, the Blues took a step back this year, entering the final game of the season with only 84 points. An anemic offense and a mediocre defense were the culprits for St. Louis.
There are no such blues in Salt Lake City, as the Mammoth will be making the postseason in their sophomore season as a franchise. Stellar goal suppression plus an above-average offense has propelled them to 92 points.
And while nothing is at stake tomorrow, I expect (hope?) that Utah will still put their best skates forward. After getting blown out in back-to-back games, they righted the ship in their last game, and a win tomorrow would give them some positive momentum moving into the first round of the playoffs.
