UFC Fight Night: Burns vs Malott (aka UFC Winnipeg) is, not surprisingly, a Canadian-fighter-heavy card, including the main event. Canadian bantamweight Jamie Siraj makes his UFC debut on his home soil on Saturday night, opening up the card against one-fight UFC veteran John Yannis. And, good news for Siraj – Yannis just got submitted in his last fight.
It’s good news for Siraj because half of his 14 professional wins have come via submission, including his last two fights. With Yannis struggling in the grappling department and susceptible to submissions (the only two times he’s been finished in a fight have been via submission), there’s a clear path to hitting a +210 prop play when Siraj taps him out to kick off the festivities on Saturday.
