UFC Fight Night: Burns vs Malott (aka UFC Winnipeg) is, not surprisingly, a Canadian-fighter-heavy card, including the main event. UFC Fight Night: Burns vs Malott (aka UFC Winnipeg)
Start Time: 5:00 PM EST
Despite all the Canadians on Saturday’s card (and being a Canadian myself), my live dog this week is a Brazilian who is facing an American in a lightweight fight on the main card. I’m taking Thiago Moises to beat Gauge Young.
While Young is five years younger (apropos) than Moises, that’s the only real advantage I see for him in this matchup. The Brazilian has much more high-level experience (including an 8-7 UFC record; Young is 1-1), better striking power, and excels in grappling and locking in submissions
This all makes Moises a very live dog in Winnipeg.
