Miami Heat vs Charlotte Hornets

The Miami Heat and the Charlotte Hornets get to kick off the festivities tomorrow in the Eastern Conference 9th vs 10th place game. Win or go home. Or to Cancun.
And I expect the Heat to hit the golf course or the beach, and the Hornets to survive to live another day. Despite Miami winning the season series three games to one, Charlotte was a different team earlier in the season. They have since turned a corner and have become one of the league’s toughest outs.
My line is Charlotte -7, so the Hornets will win and cover.

Portland Trail Blazers vs Phoenix Suns
Start Time – 10:00 PM EST
The late game of the day is the Western Conference’s 7th vs 8th place game between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Phoenix Suns, with the winner going on to face the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the playoffs (and, perhaps most importantly, avoiding having to play the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round).
I have the home team, the Suns, winning this one as well. Not only did Phoenix win two of three against Portland this season, but they’re the better team, and they’re playing at home.
My line for this game is Phoenix -6.5, so I have the Suns covering the spread as well.
