Daily NBA Player Props – April 10th
LaMelo Ball – Over 21.5 Points (-121)
The Hornets are one of the few teams in the league that are still playing for something. While they have clinched a spot in the play-in, they still hold an outside chance of getting the 6-seed and avoiding the mess altogether. With that on the line, we’ve seen LaMelo Ball go for 35 and 36 over the last two games. The Pistons have already clinched the 1-seed and will likely rest some of their guys towards the end of the game. That should allow for Ball to carry this number easily.
Desmond Bane – Over 20.5 Points (-111)
Speaking of teams that have something to play for, the Magic sit just one game behind the Hawks for the last spot in the playoffs proper. Meanwhile, Bane may have missed this prop last time out, but he hit the number in each of the three prior to that. Overall, he’s averaging 24.3 points per game and is drawing the Bulls in this one. Their lackluster defense should open right up for Bane to get plenty of points.
Jalen Johnson – Over 10.5 Rebounds (+122)
The team that the Magic and Hornets are chasing is the Hawks, so they too have plenty to play for. As a result, you know Jalen Johnson is going to be putting it on the line to keep his team out of that play-in. He’s been over this mark in five straight games and it putting up 11.8 rebounds in that span. While some might doubt the play because the Cavaliers are good on the boards, look for them to rest a bit more with a home series locked up.
