Daily NBA Player Props – April 8th
Nikola Jokic – Over 13.5 Rebounds (+107)
The rebounding numbers for Jokic have been solid lately. He’s been over this mark in seven of his last eight games. That shouldn’t come to an end with the Grizzlies coming to town. They’ve been awful on the boards all season. After trading away some rebounding threats, they’ve fallen to 26th in the league in rebounding percentage. That should give Jokic all the opportunities that he needs to keep the trend going.
Jordan Goodwin – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (-124)
The Suns have cooled it a little with their three-point attempts, which might be a cause for concern when you look at this prop. However, we saw Goodwin let it fly a bit last time out against the Rockets. He had three makes on six attempts, which put him at 5-1 against this line in his last six games. Dallas is a middle of the pack team in terms of defending the three-point and Goodwin should be able to find the attempts.
Desmond Bane – Over 19.5 Points (-103)
While the Timberwolves tend to be a tough defensive team, Orlando has been scoring the rock lately. Over their last three games, they’ve put up 121.0 points per game. A lot of that has been the action of Bane, who has scored 26.3 per game in that span. While the tougher defense has the chance to bring him down a bit, I don’t think a half dozen points is going to be the difference. It’s also worth noting that he hung 30 on Minnesota last time they played.
