2026 NFL Draft: Team’s First Position Drafted - NFC

The NFL Draft is just a few weeks away. All teams are doing their homework to see who they will be drafting. It’s a great time for us to do some research as well, given that we can place draft-related bets as well. Each NFL team’s first position drafted is being offered, so let’s look into the NFC and see which positions are worth betting for each team in the 2026 NFL Draft. These are the prices as of 4/8/26. However, as rumors swirl and more team visits happen, watch for prices to move.

2026 NFL Draft: Team’s First Position Drafted – AFC

Chicago Bears (Defensive Line/Edge -155, Safety +300)

The Bears are going to have to focus on their defense in the draft.  Therefore, we can narrow down the 2026 NFL draft first position to be drafted for them. Defensive edge is their biggest need, and it’s juiced to -155. I think that’s likely the route that they end up going. However, many are eying them to take a safety as well. They didn’t bring back Brisker or CGJ. The Bears could eye a player like Thieneman here, and cash us a +300. However, my best bet is to take the juice on the defensive line/edge.

Detroit Lions (Offensive Lineman -175)

The Lions had a disappointing season last year. Their offensive line could use some help, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them take the best available tackle. Spencer Fano, Blake Miller, and/or Kadyn Proctor should all be available for their 17th pick in the draft. It’s another juiced line at -175, but it just makes too much sense.

Green Bay Packers (Cornerback +150)

The Packers don’t have a pick until the second round at pick 52. Therefore, determing their first position drafted in the 2026 NFL draft is a little tricky. It will be, or at least should be, dependent on who is available. Still, I like this cornerback class, and I think it’s a big need for them. We finally get a plus money draft by taking a cornerback at +150. For what it’s worth, offensive lineman is also at +150. I don’t like that one as much, but you could theoretically bet both and still cash a profit if they draft one or the other.

Minnesota Vikings (Safety +190)

The Vikings are a team with a lot of needs as well as a lot of questions. Will JJ McCarthy keep the starting job, or will it go to Kyler Murray? Will they focus on getting them help at running back or on the offensive line? Or is the defense the focus?

I think they focus on defense. Dillon Thieneman won’t make it many picks past their 18th selection if they don’t draft him. I think they take him and cash 1st drafted player position as safety at +190.

Atlanta Falcons (Linebacker +500)

Much like the Green Bay Packers, the Falcons do not have a first-rounder. They won’t draft a player until the 48th pick in the draft. They have a lot of needs. I’m not sure linebacker is going to be as valued by some teams as it should be.

There’s a handful of guys that they could take here, including Jacob Rodriguez, Jake Golday, and Josiah Trotter. If Rodriguez is there, I think they swipe him up. The Falcons to draft a linebacker as the first position drafted in the 2026 NFL draft is at +500, and I like it. Rodriguez is the 45th-ranked player, but a linebacker falling a couple of spots from their ranking won’t surprise anyone.

Carolina Panthers (Tight End +300)

The Panthers have the 19th pick in the draft after taking steps forward and making the playoffs this past season. The books have no idea who they will draft as their first position in the NFL draft. They have a wide receiver at +250, a defensive lineman at +260, a tight end at +300, and an offensive lineman at +400.

I happen to think Kenyon Sadiq makes it to them. If he does, it would be absurd not to give Bryce Young that type of weapon. The Panthers are the favorites to be the team that drafts him, along with the Bucs. If the Bucs pass, the Panthers will take him.

Tampa Bay Bucs (Defensive Line +135)

The Bucs are drafting 15th overall after a disappointing season. Their defense needs the most help, with needs at edge and linebacker. Edge is the favorite at +135 and for good reason. They didn’t get a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks last year.

Look for them to grab a guy like Akheem Mesidor to boost their edge rushing.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles will make a decision on their first position drafted in the 2026 NFL draft at pick 23. Their current favorite is to take an offensive lineman at +110. This team has had a lot of offensive lineman be successful, and I just don’t see them taking one with their first pick. Instead, I think they focus on the defense.

A guy like Kendrick Faulk would fit nicely in their scheme. Offensive line at +110 is the safe pick. However, I’m taking defensive line/edge at +340.

LA Rams (Offensive Lineman +300)

The Rams have the 13th pick in the draft, thanks to a trade with the Falcons last year. Their current position drafted favorite is wide receiver at +105. This team needs to focus on protecting Matthew Stafford, though.

I think they take an offensive tackle. A guy like Monroe Freeling out of Georgia will be able to step in and start for them right away. Offensive lineman is +300, and this feels like a solid choice for them.

Seattle Seahawks (Defensive Line/Edge +400)

The defending Super Bowl Champions won’t pick until the last pick in the first round. They had a great season last year, obviously, winning the Super Bowl. However, in the offseason, they lost a lot of production on both sides of the ball.

Their current favorite is to draft a cornerback at +150. I think they need to make sure the defense keeps playing strong, but not necessarily at cornerback. Instead, I think they look to replace the production lost along the defensive line and take the top edge rusher still available. Defensive line/edge is +400.

Every other team doesn’t currently have odds at first position drafted. However, you can get Jeremiyah Love to be drafted by the Commanders at +200, and I don’t think they let him slide past.
