Daily NBA Player Props – March 24th
Karl-Anthony Towns – Over 36.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-117)
Towns has been tearing the boards apart for the last month. He’s averaging 13.2 boards per game in March, but has been even better in the last couple of games. In those two games, he’s grabbed 15 and 16 rebounds respectively. Those games are against teams that were comparable in the rebounding department. He’s also been over 20 points in six of his last seven games. With those numbers, he should barely need any assists for this to cash.
Nikola Jokic – Over 13.5 Rebounds (+124)
Jokic has already been over this total in four of his last six games – with two of those games being 16+. Now he has the pleasure of running into Phoenix, who loves to shoot low percentage shots. They have a below average rebounding percenage to go along with a top five rate of three-pointers taken. That should open up plenty of opportunities for Jokic to put up another gaudy number with his rebounds.
Ryan Kalkbrenner – Over 7.5 Points (-106)
So this prop doesn’t come in on as well-known of a player, but it is one that I think can be exploited. Kalkbrenner has put up double figures in the scoring department in four of his last seven games – or five of his last nine if you want to extend it. He is also running into one of the worst defensive teams in the league in Sacramento. To make matters even better, the Kings have some presence under the basket, which could lead Charlotte to try to play a bit bigger than they traditionally do. That should give Kalkbrenner a chance to net eight for us.
