Toronto Raptors vs Chicago Bulls
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
Most of the tanking teams in action on Wednesday eliminated themselves from me making plays on their games due to the vast number of key players they are stashing on their injury lists. The Chicago Bulls, however, tanked the old-fashioned way by trading away key pieces at the trade deadline.
So I’m going in on the Bulls tomorrow when they host the Toronto Raptors. My line is only Toronto -2.5, so the Bulls plus the points at home is my play.
Best Bet: Chicago +7.5 (-104)
Atlanta Hawks vs Dallas Mavericks
Start Time – 8:30 PM EST
The Dallas Mavericks are in the same tanking boat (sinking ship?) as the Chicago Bulls, having already stripped off key parts via trade, so their injury list is legit. And, like the Bulls, I like the number we’re getting for them tomorrow when they host the Atlanta Hawks.
While the Hawks are surging, the Mavs are actually winning every other game at this point, much to their management’s chagrin, I’m sure. My line is Atlanta -3.5, so the Mavericks can tank but still cover the spread for us.
Best Bet: Dallas +8.5 (-106)
