Daily NBA Player Props – March 17th
Russell Westbrook – Over 5.5 Rebounds (-107)
Over his last three games, Westbrook has rededicated himself to getting onto the boards. Despite averaging only 5.5 rebounds on the year, he is averaging 10.0 over that span with a dozen last time out against the Clippers. While San Antonio is a good rebounding team, little gets in the way of Westbrook when he wants to fill the stat sheet out. Despite the obstacles, I just don’t see how he cuts his recent production in half here.
Evan Mobley – Over 9.5 Rebounds (+110)
Mobley, unlike Westbrook, has an extremely favorable matchup on Tuesday. He’s travelling to face the Bucks and when he does, he’ll be without his frontcourt partner Jarrett Allen. That means the Cavaliers are already going to have to rely on him more on the boards. To help matters along, the Bucks are terrible on the glass. They rank 28th in the league in rebounding percentage. That should leave the bulk of the boards for the Cleveland big man.
Cade Cunningham – Over 10.5 Assists (-102)
Cunningham is coming off of his first single-digit assists game in his last five games and only his second in the month of March. Overall, he’s had double-digit rebounds in ten of his last 13 games since the All-Star Break. Now, not only does he have the chance to get back on track, but he does so against the Wizards. They are giving up 123.7 points per game this season, which is good enough for 29th in the league. He should have plenty of chances to get his teammates the rock.
