Daily NBA Player Props – March 16th
Josh Giddey – Over 9.5 Rebounds (+101)
Giddey has been back to his old self in terms of getting on the boards. He has double figures in rebounds in four of six games this month and is averaging 11.2 per game. He pulled down 11 in a triple-double against the Clippers on Friday and finds himself with an even easier matchup here. The Grizzlies rank in the bottom third of the league in rebounding percentage and are all beat up in the front court. Look for Giddey to take advantage and fill out the stat sheet again.
Brandin Podziemski – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+134)
While this didn’t cash on Sunday, the circumstances are still the same and the trend favors the over. He’s still without Steph Curry, Moses Moody and Al Horford on Monday. Additionally, even with the miss on Sunday, he’s 5-2 to the over this month for this prop. Finally, he’ll face the Wizards on Monday, who have a porous defense. They’re 23rd in the league in terms of opponents’ three-pointers per game.
Baylor Scheierman – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (+110)
Scheierman isn’t the guy getting all the attention for the Celtics right now, and he likely shouldn’t be. However, I think they are missing on the potential of this prop, which is set way too low. Sure, he came up with a goose egg last time out, but he still took seven from beyond the arc. That volume seems to always be there for him no matter who is and isn’t in the lineup. With a 5-3 record against this line and all of that recent volume, I like him to knock down a couple on Monday.
