Edmonton Oilers vs Dallas Stars
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
I say back to the American Airlines Centre, because that’s where I dipped in on Tuesday for a winning play on the home squad there, the Dallas Stars. And I’m in on the Stars again tomorrow night when they welcome the Edmonton Oilers to town.
Yes, it’s a bit scary betting against Connor McDavid, especially when you consider Dallas’s best player, Mikko Rantanen, is still out with an injury he suffered at the Winter Olympics. But the Stars are on another level this season, one only eclipsed by the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL.
Seventh in offense and second in defense, Dallas is a well-rounded juggernaut. With a 20-7-4 record on their home ice, and winners of back-to-back games and 12 of 13 (their lone loss being a shootout loss to the aforementioned Avalanche), the Stars are a steal at the moneyline we’re getting them for on Thursday.
