Cleveland Cavaliers vs Orlando Magic
Start Time – 7:30 PM EST
The wrong team is favored in this matchup between the Orlando Magic and the Cleveland Cavaliers, so at least there’s that. It gets muddied up a bit because, naturally, key players on both sides will be missing in action tomorrow night in Orlando (Jarrett Allen for the Cavs, Franz Wagner and Anthony Black for the Magic).
My numbers say to go with the home side in this one, so that’s what I’m going to do. My line is Orlando -0.5, so I’ll take the Magic plus the points at home.
Best Bet: Orlando +2.5 (-107)
Charlotte Hornets vs Sacramento Kings
Start Time – 10:00 PM EST
Then there is this game, between the in-the-tank Sacramento Kings and the up-and-coming Charlotte Hornets. With tanking teams, you have to tread lightly, but I’ve had surprising success backing tankers on the spread this season.
So that’s what I’m doing tomorrow night again in Sac-Town. My line is Charlotte -8.5, so the Kings can still tank and lose this game, but I think they’ll cover the spread.
