Best Bet For Wednesday (March 11th): NHL Predictions
Montreal Canadiens vs Ottawa Senators
Start Time: 7:30 PM EST
There are only two games on the NHL slate tomorrow, one of them being this grudge match between the Ottawa Senators and the Montreal Canadiens. Not only are these teams close geographically, but they are also close in the Atlantic Division standings, with the Canadiens only five points ahead of the Senators.
With the way Ottawa has been playing of late, that gap between the two teams in the standings is bound to shrink. The Senators have won three straight games and four of five, all on the road. This is part of a larger 9-3 run they are on since late January. The Canadiens, meanwhile, have only won two of their last five.
Montreal has already won once in Ottawa’s barn, an overtime win on January 27th. I don’t think they do it twice.
Ottawa, on a very nice moneyline (considering analytics sites have the Senators as a 67% favorite), is my best bet for Wednesday.
