Normally, I’m going against the Anaheim Ducks in my goal-scoring parlays because they struggle to keep the puck out of their own net. However, today I’m adding a Ducks player to my play.
And obviously that player has to be Cutter Gauthier, right? The 22-year-old winger is the league’s hottest player, scoring nine times in his past 10 games, and six in his last five. His 32 goals for the season are a new career high, and he’s on pace to top 40.
Edmonton Oilers vs Colorado Avalanche
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
Gauthier isn’t alone with nine goals in his past 10 games – another player in the league is tied with him. And that player plays for the Edmonton Oilers.
That would be Oilers veteran Leon Draisaitl. With five goals in his past five games, Draisaitl is now up to 34 this year, as he looks to win back-to-back Rocket Richard Trophies (he’s currently nine goals behind leader Nathan MacKinnon).
