Washington Wizards vs Miami Heat
Start Time – 7:30 PM EST
The tanking Washington Wizards head to Miami to face the Heat tomorrow night, and not surprisingly, the injury report for the game is packed. Most notably for our play, Norman Powell remains out for the Heat.
But I’m still going with Miami, despite Powell’s absence and despite the wide spread for this game. The Heat have won five straight, and the Wizards are trying their hardest to lose. My line is Miami -17.5, so the Heat on the spread is my play.
Best Bet: Miami -15.5 (+103)
Charlotte Hornets vs Portland Trail Blazers
Start Time – 10:00 PM EST
For all the hype surrounding the Charlotte Hornets and their resurgence this season, they are only one game better than the Portland Trail Blazers, who you hear nothing about. The two teams meet up tomorrow night in Rip City.
And I’ll be going with the home side. The Hornets have dropped two straight, so maybe some of the bloom has come off the rose. My line is Charlotte -1, so the Blazers plus the points at home is the move.
Best Bet: Portland +3.5 (-110)
