Brooklyn Nets vs Detroit Pistons
Start Time – 6:00 PM EST
The worst team in the Atlantic Division meets the best team in the Central tomorrow night as the Brooklyn Nets travel to Detroit to face the Pistons. The home side may be without their MVP candidate, Cade Cunningham, tomorrow night due to a quad contusion.
However, the Pistons have gone 5-1 without Cunningham this season, so apparently it doesn’t matter – Detroit just wins, regardless. My line is Detroit -18, so the Pistons will cover the wide spread posted for this matchup.
Best Bet: Detroit -14 (-110)
LA Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
The Memphis Grizzlies are one of three tanking teams in action tomorrow night (along with the aforementioned Nets and the Utah Jazz), and you have to tread lightly when betting on games involving them. You never know what shenanigans might occur with injury reports and minutes played.
Yet, I’ve been successful backing tankers on the spread, and I’m hoping for the same tomorrow, despite the Grizzlies extensive “injury list”. My line is Memphis -1.5, so I’ll take the Grizzlies as a home dog.
Best Bet: Memphis +4.5 (-110)
