Daily NBA Player Props – March 1st

Tobias Harris – Over 5.5 Rebounds (-103)

Harris came up short of this projection against the Cavaliers on Friday as the Pistons won in overtime. He pulled down just five, which included one in the extra period. However, don’t let that keep you away from this over as he’s been crushing it lately. He had five straight games of getting at least six rebounds prior to Friday and had hit this in seven of his last eight games. The Magic are in the bottom third of the league in shooting percentage, which should create plenty of opportunities for rebounds.

Julian Champagnie – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+145)

You might look at the averages for attempts from deep on Champagnie and not think this line is remotely possible. Over the first three weeks of the month, he was putting up just 4.3 attempts per game. However, the uptick in attempts over the last week and a half is really promising. Now over the last four games, he’s averaging 7.5 attempts from beyond the arc and that has led to 4.0 makes per game. The Knicks are in the bottom third of the league in three-pointer makes allowed per game and just allowed 16 last time out.

Rudy Gobert – Over 11.5 Rebounds (+111)

Gobert just closed out his third straight month of averaging 12.0 rebounds or better. While that might not make this projection look like a sure thing, his last three games certainly do. Over the last three games, that average has shot up to 16.3 rebounds per game with an easy cover in every single game. The line has likely only stayed this low due to Denver ranking in the top ten of rebounding percentage, but Gobert grabbed 19 against Portland two games ago, and they rank in the top five.
