The combine is going on this weekend, then NFL free agency, the Draft, and before you know it the 2026 season will be here! While we wait, it’s time to start accumulating those NFL futures bets. Now, during the first run of win totals bets is a great time to get in and call your shot on how a team might improve, or fail to improve themselves over the next few months. Let’s jump in and take an early look at all 16 AFC teams’ win totals. Making our NFL best bets as we go.
Miami Dolphins Over 4.5 Wins (-110)
I’m not ready to give up on this Dolphins team. The Halfley hire did leave me disappointed, and we still have to wait and see what they decide to do at quarterback and with players like Jaylen Waddle. I still believe Tua is a good quarterback, and right now, he’s their guy. They only need to win five games, and if they can make some of the right moves in the offseason, this total may shoot up. Oh yeah, they get to play the Jets twice, too. Isn’t that sweet!
New York Jets Under 5.5 Wins (-135)
Speaking of the Jets. Six wins? Where are six wins coming from for the Jets? Have we learned nothing about this franchise? Their head coach can’t even stay awake during the NFL Combine. Hammer the under.
Las Vegas Raiders Under 5.5 Wins (-139)
The Raiders have the #1 pick because, well, they weren’t very good in 2025. Is Fernando Mendoza the answer? That’s yet to be seen, but there are a lot of holes and a lot of unanswered questions with this team. Their division has three great teams in it, and it’ll be hard to overcome. Give me the under here.
Cleveland Browns Under 6.5 Wins (-139)
I’ll be the first to say I think the Todd Monken hire is the worst of the coaching cycle. It’s the most Browns move in the book. They had a great coach; if they could figure out quarterback, they’d have been fine. Bring in the old guy, let him take the lumps, let’s Shedeur flame out, get rid of Watson’s horrible contract. Under all day.
Tennessee Titans Under 6.5 Wins (+105)
This is a team I will not buy into until I see it. Robert Saleh wasn’t great in New York when he supposedly had a good team. Now he’s got what’s been a horrible team, with bad ownership and a questionable quarterback? Happy to take the under.
Indianapolis Colts Under 8.5 Wins (-125)
Indianapolis looked like the best team going before the Daniel Jones injury. But fell apart after he was gone. We’ve seen this story with Jones before. Now, he’s coming back from injury. When will he come back from injury? If it takes time, who is the quarterback? Way too many questions around this team to take the over.
Pittsburgh Steelers Over 8.5 Wins (+125)
The days of Mike Tomlin just auto-cashing the over wins are done. I, for one, am very sad about that. But we’ve got the next best thing. Mike McCarthy, who does about the same thing. McCarthy will win games during the regular season. Does he have what it takes in the playoffs? Who knows. But he can get us to nine wins, and that’s what matters.
Cincinnati Bengals Over 9.5 Wins (-115)
Cincinnati has had a rough go of it the last few years. But I still find myself ready to pound the table for this team and take them over. They only managed six wins last year, but missed Joe Burrow for most of the year. If Joe can stay healthy, their defense should continue to improve. We all know how good their offense is. Give me the over on the coach, quarterback, and playmaker continuity.
Denver Broncos Over 9.5 Wins (-110)
I’m not super high on this Denver team that had the #1 seed last year. Sean Payton gives me pause, because he’s a good coach, but their division and schedule won’t be easy. Bo Nix has proven to be a solid quarterback, but I think Denver regresses and doesn’t get back to 10 wins in 2026.
Houston Texans Over 9.5 Wins (-110)
While I’m not high on the Broncos, I am very high on this Texans team. Their defense alone will win them games like we saw last year. They were able to win with Davis Mills at the helm, and while CJ Stroud played a poor game against a good Patriots defense, he’s still a good quarterback. DeMeco Ryans wins, and they’ll get back to 10 this year.
Jacksonville Jaguars Over 9.5 Wins (+100)
Last year, I was all over the “Jag Wagon” as it affectionately became known on the SGPN network. Nothing has changed for me. Liam Cohen was the key to unlocking what we’d all been promised in Trevor Lawrence. I believe year two of that pairing takes the team to the next level, and they hit the over here.
New England Patriots Over 9.5 Wins (-134)
I get it, they had an easy schedule last year and got blown out in the Super Bowl. However, Drake Maye had his shining moments, and this is a great coaching staff. With plenty of cap space and all of their draft capital. The Patriots are back, and we’d better get used to it.
Baltimore Ravens Over 10.5 Wins (-139)
How will a change of scenery go for the Ravens? It’s time to find out. This is a team that had gone over this total in four of the last six years before winning just eight games last year and moving on from John Harbaugh. Jesse Minter should be a stabilizing force, even with things crumbling in the Harbaugh empire and Lamar Jackson being hurt. The team still managed eight wins. Hopefully, this is the change of pace Jackson needs, and this division is wide open to be all his.
Buffalo Bills Over 10.5 Wins (-139)
It’s almost the same boat for the Buffalo Bills as the Baltimore Ravens. New coach, how do things go from here? However, Buffalo has at least 11 wins in six straight seasons. One thing you can’t question with the Bills, they are a great regular-season team. We all know they’ll choke it away in the playoffs. But when it comes to the regular season, they are elite.
Kansas City Chiefs Over 10.5 Wins (-110)
Last season was the first time in the Mahomes era that the Chiefs didn’t win at least 10 games. It’s hard to believe they won’t return to an 11-win game, no matter the circumstances around who is back and when they are back. Will they win the Super Bowl? I don’t have them going that far, but like the Bills, the regular-season wins will be there.
Los Angeles Chargers Over 10.5 Wins (+110)
The Chargers are a team I’m getting more and more high on as this offseason goes on. Jim Harbaugh year three. Another year of Justin Herbert. Now you bring an offensive genius, Mike McDaniel, on board and let Harbaugh focus on the defensive side of the ball. The Chargers will be scary in 2026, and I have them atop the tough AFC West.
