Daily NBA Player Props – February 26th

Onyeka Okongwu – Over 9.5 Rebounds (+121)

Jalen Johnson has lead the pack for the Hawks this year in nearly every stat category, but he went down early in their last game with a hip injury. Even though he’s not out for sure at the time of print, the fact that they are playing the Wizards means he’ll likely be reduced in time at minimum. Look for Okongwu to step up and grab some of the rebounds he’s missed. Not only has Okongwu gone for double digits in three of his last four games, but he happens to draw the worst team in the league in terms of rebounding percentage.

Donovan Clingan – Over 14.5 Rebounds (+108)

It’s not often we’re seeing rebound projections spiking up this high, but it doesn’t even seem high enough for Clingan. Everything is pointing to him having a superlative game on the boards. For one, Deni Avdija is out and won’t be collecting them for Portland. Additionally, they draw the Bulls, who have gutted the bulk of team at the deadline. Plus, one of the better Chicago rebounders – Jalen Smith – is listed as doubtful for Thursday’s action.

Isaac Okoro – Over 11.5 Points (+104)

Sticking with the Bulls, let’s all admit that they don’t have very many scorers left either. However, we have a vey managable projection here on Okoro, who is getting a lot of the extra looks. He’s perfect against this projection in the last couple weeks when he has at least ten shot attempts. Portland ranks in the top five in pace in the league. That should lead to many more chances for the Bulls to rack up some points and the quick guards should benefit the most.
