LSU at Ole Miss
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
LSU comes into this game with a 14-13 overall record and a 2-6 mark on the road. The Tigers are 16-11 ATS overall and 7-1 against the spread on the road.
Ole Miss enters this matchup with an 11-16 overall record and a 7-6 mark at home. The Rebels are 8-18 overall ATS and 3-10 ATS at home.
Ole Miss has won four of their last five games against LSU outright and covered in three of them.
LSU is 2-8 overall in their last 10 games played, but they’re also 6-4 ATS over that stretch. The Tigers are currently on a five-game losing streak.
Ole Miss is 1-9 in their last 10 games and currently on a nine-game losing streak. They have managed to go 3-6-1 ATS in their last 10 games.
LSU has been unconscious from the field in their last two games. They’ve shot better than 50%/40%/80% over their last two games. Now, they head to Oxford, MS? The Rebels have been rough, but they still have an intensity to their defense, and they’ve been tough on the inside all year. LSU has the better rebounding team, but the Rebels are capable of generating turnovers and blocks.
Ole Miss is desperate to get off the slide, and the line is telling us how this game is going to go. Why would a team on a nine-game losing streak get listed as a short favorite? Lock up Ole Miss to get their first win in over a month.
Best Bet: Ole Miss -1.5
UNLV at Grand Canyon
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
UNLV enters this matchup with a 14-13 overall record and a 6-4 mark on the road. The Rebels are 12-14 overall ATS and 6-4 ATS on the road.
Grand Canyon comes into this game with a 17-10 overall record and an 11-4 mark at home. The Antelopes are 13-14 overall ATS and 7-8 ATS at home.
UNLV beat Grand Canyon in Las Vegas as a 2.5-point underdog in early February. This game was the only time these two teams have played in the last 10 years.
UNLV has won and covered in three of its last five road games. The Rebels have won four of their last five games outright and covered in three of those games.
Grand Canyon has won six of its last 10 games, but only covered five times over that stretch. The Antelopes have lost and failed to cover in back-to-back home games.
UNLV’s scoring and athleticism messed with Grand Canyon in the first matchup between these teams. Grand Canyon does play a bit loose with the ball, and the Rebels are 72nd in the nation in steals per game and 93rd in opponent turnovers. The Antelopes can defend, but they also play at pace. That actually plays into UNLV’s hands. Let’s lock up UNLV catching the big number on the road. They can put the ball in the net, play well on the road, and Grand Canyon’s pace won’t mess with the Rebels.
Best Bet: UNLV +8.5
Washington State at Loyola Marymount
Start Time: 11:00 PM EST
Washington State enters this game with a 12-17 overall record and a 1-9 mark on the road. The Cougars are 14-14 overall ATS and 5-5 ATS on the road.
Loyola Marymount comes into this matchup with a 14-15 overall record and a 9-7 mark at home. The Lions are 14-14 overall ATS and 8-7 ATS at home.
Washington State has won the last three head-to-head matchups with Loyola Marymount. The Cougars have also covered two out of three games. These teams played in early January, and Loyola Marymount lost, but covered as a 3.5-point underdog in Pullman, WA.
Washington State has lost six straight road games. The Cougars have only covered once in their last four games on the road. They’ve also 4-6 overall in their last 10, but 6-4 ATS over that stretch.
Loyola Marymount is 3-7 overall and ATS in their last 10 games. All three of their recent wins and covers have come in their last five games.
Washington State can shoot, but they don’t really defend. Loyola Marymount isn’t terribly efficient on the offensive end, but they can defend. The Lions are also better at turning over the opposition and can defend the interior. Washington State has been rough on the road, and we’ve seen some recent improvement from the Lions. Let’s lock up Loyola Marymount as the short home dog to get across the finish line.
Best Bet: Loyola Marymount +1.5
