Daily NBA Player Props – February 22nd
De’Anthony Melton – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (-134)
With Steph Curry out of the lineup on Sunday, the rest of the team is expected to take another step forward with their work behind the arc. Melton is one I expect to get a lot of those attempts. He’s been over this mark in three of his last five games, which includes some with Curry in the fold. Now without him – and up against a below average team against the three-pointer – getting another three should be a breeze.
Egor Demin – Over 3.5 Rebounds (-109)
Demin might not be the first name that comes to mind when we think rebounds, but he’s really stepped up his game on the boards lately. He has three straight games of pulling down five for the Nets and has cleared this mark in four of his last five. The Hawks currently rank 27th in rebounding percentage, which is going to open up a few more chances for the rookie guard here.
Kon Knueppel – Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (-114)
The books threw down this line on Knueppel on Friday and all her did was double it up. He ripped off seven makes on 15 attempts against the Cavaliers. That marked the fifth time in seven games this month that he had at least four makes. Now, he takes on the Wizards who rank 23rd in the league in three-pointers allowed per game. Expect him to fire away from deep again here.
