Daily NBA Player Props – February 21st
Anthony Black – Over 17.5 Points (+106)
He may be averaging just a little over 16 points per game, but Black’s recent run suggests the real chance of an easy over here. In his last five games, he’s 4-1 against this line and cracked 20 in three of those. He’ll get the added bonus of facing a Phoenix team that has been struggling on the defensive side of things. Despite being a top five defensive team on the year, they’re allowing 122.7 points per game in their last three.
Cade Cunningham – Over 41.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-119)
We’ve talked about it at length at this point – the Bulls are a completely unserious team at this stage of the season. Cunningham, meanwhile, is the exact opposite. He’s lighting things up in a big way around the All-Star break. It’s led to three straight easy overs of this line with a 52.0 PRA per game average. Against the Bulls, with the way they’re playing defense, he might just do that with points.
Andre Drummond – Over 10.5 Rebounds (-103)
Drummond has been a little up and down with his rebounding numbers, but that’s because there are always questions about who will be in the 76ers front court on a given day. One thing is for sure, Joel Embiid will be out again on Saturday, leaving the bulk of the rebounds for Drummond. With Embiid out on Thursday, he pulled down a dozen against the Hawks. Now he gets a Pelicans squad that ranks 25th in the league in rebounding percentage.
