Green Bay at Oakland

Start Time: 7:00 PM EST

Green Bay enters this game with a 15-13 overall record and a 5-8 mark on the road. The Phoenix are 16-10 overall against the spread and 7-6 ATS on the road.

Oakland comes into this matchup with a 14-13 overall record and a 6-3 home mark. The Golden Grizzlies are 15-11 overall ATS and 4-4 ATS at home.

Oakland has won eight of the last 10 games played head-to-head, but Green Bay is 6-4 ATS over the same stretch. These teams played in January, Oakland won and covered as a 4.5-point favorite at home.

Green Bay has won three of its last four games played, and three of its last five road games outright. The Phoenix are 6-4 ATS in their last 10 games played overall.

Oakland is on a three-game losing streak, and they’ve dropped three of their last four home games.

The Golden Grizzlies have been uncharacteristically poor on the defensive end. Oakland is 345th in the nation in shooting percentage on two-point shots this year. They’re also 347th in the country in points per game allowed. Oakland gives up too many easy looks, and Green Bay is a solid shooting team. The Phoenix can also do a better job of staying in front of its opponent. They also do a solid job of keeping opponents off the glass.

Green Bay got drilled at home by a mediocre Oakland team. The Phoenix are also a half-game behind Oakland for second place in the Horizon League. A two-seed in the Horizon League conference tournament would mean that the second-place team could get a third-round bye. Yes, third round. The Horizon League has a unique tournament format. Green Bay has already seen Oakland, and they should be able to keep this one within the number. Let’s lock up Green Bay to get the cover on Friday night.

Best Bet: Green Bay +7

Milwaukee at Detroit Mercy

Start Time: 7:00 PM EST

Milwaukee comes into this matchup with an 11-17 overall record and a 3-11 road mark. The Panthers are 11-16 overall ATS and 6-8 ATS on the road.

Detroit Mercy enters this game with a 12-13 overall record and a 6-5 mark at home. The Titans are 15-8 overall ATS and 5-4 ATS at home.

Milwaukee is 7-3 outright in their last 10 matchups with Detroit Mercy, but these two teams have split the series ATS. The Titans won in Milwaukee two weeks ago. Detroit Mercy was a 5.5-point underdog against Milwaukee earlier in the month.

Milwaukee has won two in a row, but is only 3-7 in its last 10 games outright. Detroit Mercy has won four of their last five games. The Titans have also won three of their last five home games.

Neither team will really get after it on the defensive end, but Detroit Mercy has the better shooting team. The Titans are 19th in the nation in free-throw percentage, and they’re in the top 150 in the country when it comes to shooting from deep range. Detroit Mercy is also the better rebounding team.

Milwaukee has underachieved all year, while Detroit Mercy has overachieved. On paper, the Panthers have the better roster, but they’re in the bottom three in the standings. With a win, Detroit Mercy could firm up a finish in the top half of the Horizon League. Let’s lock up Detroit Mercy to get the win at home and cover the two-point spread on Friday night.

Best Bet: Detroit -2

Bowling Green at Miami(OH)

Start Time: 8:00 PM EST

Bowling Green enters this matchup with a 16-11 overall record and a 5-5 road mark. The Falcons are 11-13 overall ATS and 5-5 ATS on the road.

Miami(OH) comes into this game with a 26-0 overall record and a 14-0 mark at home. The Redhawks are 17-6 overall ATS and 7-7 ATS at home.

Miami(OH) is 7-3 in the most recent 10 games in this series. The Redhawks have also covered in six of the last 10 games played head-to-head with Bowling Green. These two teams played in late December and Miami(OH) beat Bowling Green by 10 points as a 6.5-point road favorite.

The Redhawks have covered seven of their last 10 games played. They’ve covered three out of four home games played over that stretch.

Bowling Green is 2-3 ATS in their last five road games. The Falcons have split their last 10 games and only covered four games over that stretch.

The handicap on this game comes down to three factors. First, Miami(OH) is playing in its gym. The Redhawks home court has grown into a true advantage this year. Second, Miami(OH) has the most efficient offense in the nation this year. Bowling Green will struggle to keep up. Third, the Redhawks are one of the best teams in the country at shooting from deep range. Bowling Green isn’t terrible at defending the perimeter, but the Redhawks shot over 48% from deep at Bowling Green. It’s a case of a team in their element against an opponent that doesn’t match up well against them. Let’s lock up the Redhawks to win their 27th game of the year and cover the eight-point spread.

Best Bet: Miami (OH) -8
