This episode was exactly why I love college basketball season. Moneyline Mac from The College Experience joined me to get way ahead of March Madness and sort through what’s real, what’s noise, and what’s about to break people’s hearts. We talked actual contenders like Arizona, Houston, Kansas, Michigan, Texas Tech, and Illinois, plus teams that feel sneaky right now like UConn, Florida, and Saint Louis. Futures value, fraud alerts, and why this year feels more open than the chalk-fest we got last season all came up fast.
We also hit big matchups, including Arizona at Houston and Michigan at Duke, and got into why certain teams just aren’t built for March even if the record looks good. As always, there were strong opinions, fanbase chaos, and at least one “why are people like this” moment.
At the end of the episode, Producer Ryan McKee jumped on for an Extra Holes segment that took a turn in the best way. He officially talked through the end of Shed Picks, how it started during a manic stretch, why it somehow worked, and why he’s choosing to end it now. We wrapped with a couples list moment, including my latest list of things that are absolutely not a personality trait. A little hoops, a little honesty, and just enough chaos.
