Cornell at Princeton

Start Time: 7:00 PM EST

Cornell enters this game with an 11-10 overall record and a 6-7 mark on the road. The Big Red are 8-11 overall against the spread and 7-6 ATS on the road.

Princeton comes into this matchup with an 8-15 overall record and a 7-1 mark at home. The Tigers are 13-9 overall ATS and 5-2 ATS at home.

These two teams have split the last 10 head-to-head matchups in this series, but Cornell is 8-2 ATS over that stretch. Cornell has won and covered three straight games in this series.

Cornell has won and covered four of their last five games. They beat Princeton in Ithaca in January. Princeton has won four straight home games and covered in three out of four.

These two teams are a true clash of styles. Cornell is one of the best scoring offenses and one of the worst scoring defenses in the nation. Princeton prefers to slow down the pace, make the most of their possessions, and play tough on defense. The Tigers can defend the perimeter, and that should keep them in this game. Princeton is also the better team when it comes to limiting turnovers.

The Tigers getting this game on their floor should make a huge difference. Cornell is much more comfortable shooting in their own gym and could struggle to hit shots in an unfamiliar arena. Princeton is a young team that has been improving as the year has gone on. Look for Princeton to keep this one close, and potentially clip the favored Big Red in New Jersey. Lock up Princeton and the three points to get home.

Best Bet: Princeton +3

Michigan State at Wisconsin

Start Time: 8:00 PM EST

Michigan State comes into this matchup with a 20-4 overall record and a 4-2 mark on the road. The Spartans are 13-11 overall ATS and 3-3 ATS on the road.

Wisconsin enters this game with a 17-7 overall record and a 12-2 home mark. The Badgers are 13-11 overall ATS and 7-7 ATS at home.

These two teams split last year’s games, with both teams winning one game in East Lansing. Wisconsin has won and covered six games in the last 10 head-to-head matchups.

Michigan State is 8-2 overall in their last 10 games and 6-4 ATS in that stretch. Wisconsin is also 8-2 overall in its last 10 games and 7-3 ATS in that stretch. The Badgers haven’t covered in three of their last four home games. Both teams are off a win against Illinois. Wisconsin won in Champaign, while Michigan State took down the Illini in East Lansing.

Michigan State comes into this game with the more talented roster and a coaching advantage. The Spartans have a clear defensive advantage over Wisconsin. Michigan State got punked and had a hangover loss, but has righted the ship with a good win at home against Illinois. Wisconsin can score, but they’re going to have a much tougher time against a Michigan State defense that ranks in the top five in the nation. Michigan State is also one of the best rebounding teams in the country, and should limit second-chance points for the Badgers.

The angle here is that Michigan State will do enough on defense to limit the Wisconsin offense, and the Spartans have enough firepower on offense to win and cover in a slugfest. Look for the Spartans to get the job done in Madison and cover the short spread.

Best Bet: Michigan State -1.5

Ohio at Miami (OH)

Start Time: 9:00 PM EST

Ohio enters this matchup with a 13-12 overall record and a 3-6 road mark. The Bobcats are 9-14 overall ATS and 3-6 ATS on the road.

Miami (OH) comes into this game with a 24-0 overall record and a 13-0 mark at home. The Redhawks are 15-6 overall ATS and 6-4 ATS at home.

Ohio is 8-2 in the last 10 head-to-head matchups in this series. These two teams split last year’s games, with each winning at home. Ohio covered in both games last year.

The Bobcats have won two of their last three, including an outright road win at Buffalo. Miami (OH) is 3-3 against the spread in its last six home games. The Redhawks have been racking up wins, but they’re not racking up covers.

The metrics here favor Miami (OH), but this is a conference game featuring regional rivals that typically play each other close. The Redhawks are getting everyone’s best punch, and Ohio has owned this series for the last few years. This is a get-up spot for the Bobcats and looks like a bit of a sleepy spot for Miami (OH), with the Redhawks returning home from the road and playing on a Friday night.

The Bobcats are solid on the interior and should be able to get points in the paint against the Redhawks, but that’s about the only spot that favors Ohio. The good news is that they don’t have to win; they just have to cover. The Bobcats are catching more than three possessions, and this should be able to stay within the beefy number. Let’s lock up Ohio as a double-digit underdog to get the cover.

Best Bet: Ohio +10.5
