Xavier Musketeers vs St. John’s Red Storm
Start Time: 6:30 PM EST
The St. John’s Red Storm are coming off their biggest win of the year, besting the UConn Huskies in MSG on Friday night by nine points. I had the Red Storm just covering the spread in that one, so they even outdid my predictions. Now St. John’s will have to avoid falling for the letdown trap, facing a mediocre Xavier Musketeers squad on Monday night.
I think the Red Storm is up to the task. On a nine-game winning streak, they’ve gone 11-1 in the Big East, and are better than the Musketeers at both ends of the floor – and against a harder strength of schedule thus far.
After crunching the numbers, including the home court advantage, I’ve come up with the line of St. John’s -18.5, so the Red Storm will cover for us once more.
