NBA Predictions & Preview For Friday, January 30th

Sacramento Kings vs Boston Celtics

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

The Boston Celtics continue to be undervalued by the bookies and the bettors, and I continue to take advantage of it. The caveat for tomorrow is that Jaylen Brown is doubtful to play for Boston.

However, the Celtics are 2-1 without Brown this season. And if it wasn’t for the Washington Wizards, the Sacramento Kings would sit atop the throne as the worst team in the league. My line is Boston -14.5, so the Celtics will cover.

Best Bet: Boston -9.5 (-118)

Memphis Grizzlies vs New Orleans Pelicans

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

What a stinky matchup this is between two teams with a combined record of 30-64. The Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans, despite once seeming to have bright futures, are both heading nowhere fast.

I like the visitors on the spread tomorrow, despite their mounting injuries (as I’ve said in the past, they’ve proven to be a better team without Ja Morant on the court anyhow). My line is Memphis -1.5, so I’ll take the Grizz as a slight dog on the road in The Big Easy.

Best Bet: Memphis +2.5 (-105)

2025/6 Overall Record: 105-88 (54%)
Profit (based on $100/bet):  $536.67
Return on Investment: 3%
