All Selections: 127-114-5
Perfect 3-0 Cards: 12-70

St. Bonaventure at Duquesne

Start Time: 7:00 PM EST

St. Bonaventure enters this game with a 12-8 overall record and a 2-3 mark on the road. The Bonnies are 6-13 overall against the spread and 3-2 ATS on the road.

Duquesne comes into this matchup with an 11-9 overall record and an 8-4 mark at home. The Dukes are 8-10 overall ATS and 3-7 ATS at home.

The Bonnies won and covered two out of the three games played in this series last year. Duquesne has won two out of its last three games played, but it’s dropped three straight games at home. The Dukes’ two most recent outright wins were on the road. The Bonnies have won only three games in their last 10. They have wins at home against Loyola-Chicago, Le Moyne, and Colgate over that stretch. They’re off a 35-point loss to St. Louis in St. Bonaventure, NY.

The Bonnies come into this game as the better shooting team from range and from the free-throw line. They’re 61st in the nation in three-point shooting percentage and 46th in free-throw shooting. The Bonnies are also the better rebounding team. They’re 44th in the nation in rebounds allowed to opponents. St. Bonaventure is also better at protecting the ball on offense. They’re only 129th in the nation in turnovers surrendered per game.

From a situational perspective, the Bonnies need this game to turn their season around. The Bonnies are 1-6 in conference after starting 11-2 in the non-conference schedule. They’ve had recent success against Duquesne, and they’re off an embarrassing loss at home. The Bonnies get up for this game and keep it within the 3.5 points. Lock up St. Bonaventure.

Best Bet: St. Bonaventure +3.5

DePaul at Georgetown

Start Time: 8:30 PM EST

DePaul enters this matchup with a 12-8 overall record and a 1-4 mark on the road. The Blue Demons are 13-7 overall ATS and 4-1 ATS on the road.

Georgetown comes into this game with a 10-10 overall record and a 7-4 mark at home. The Hoyas are 6-14 overall ATS and 2-9 ATS at home.

DePaul has won seven of the last 10 games in this series outright and covered in nine out of 10. The Blue Demons have owned this series recently. They’ve won and covered three straight games in this series. DePaul has covered six of its last seven games overall. Georgetown has covered three of its last four games, but it’s also lost three out of four outright.

These teams played once this year, and DePaul either played one of its best defensive games of the season or Georgetown had one of its worst shooting performances ever. DePaul has been really good on the defensive end, and Georgetown is 232nd in shooting percentage this year. Both can be true. The Blue Demons have the better offense, and they have a top-75 defensive team this year.

The Blue Demons have owned this series recently and have consistently gotten up for these games. The Hoyas have been terrible ATS this season, and they’re off a rivalry win at Providence. Let’s lock up DePaul to stay within four points, but this is worth a money line sprinkle.

Best Bet: DePaul +4

Illinois State at Murray State

Start Time: 9:00 PM EST

Illinois State comes into this matchup with a 14-7 overall record and a 3-4 mark on the road. The Redbirds are 11-9 overall ATS and 2-5 ATS on the road.

Murray State enters this game with a 16-5 overall record and a 10-0 mark at home. The Racers are 12-9 overall ATS and 7-3 ATS at home.

Illinois State has won and covered three straight games in this series, including two games at Murray State. Illinois State has won two of its last three, but is off a road loss at Belmont. Murray State has dropped back-to-back road games coming into this one.

Murray State has a top-20 scoring offense, and Illinois State has a top-40 scoring defense. The Racers are in the top in the nation in shooting percentage on two-point shots, and they are a much better free-throw shooting team than Illinois State. The Redbirds are solid everywhere on defense, but not spectacular in any one area. Murray State is capable of staying in front of teams on defense, but is more interested in getting up and down the floor.

If this is Murray State’s year, they win this game. Illinois State has owned the recent series, and the Racers were clearly looking ahead to this one. Murray State is tied with Belmont at the top of the Missouri Valley Conference, and this is a must-win if they want to keep pace for the regular season title. Lock up Murray State to win and cover at home against a regional rival that has given them fits recently.

Best Bet: Murray State -3
