Daily NBA Player Props – January 27th
Ausar Thompson – Over 2.5 Assists (+132)
Maybe assists aren’t the first thing that comes to mind for you when Ausar Thompson takes to the court. However, he has been putting up some halfway decent numbers on that front lately. He’s hit the over in three straight and five of his last eight. That includes a six dime game last time out against Sacramento. Denver has been struggling lately without Jokic, so there should be more assists to be had.
Saddiq Bey – Over 15.5 Points (-105)
I understand that a points over against the Thunder is often a terrible idea. However, New Orleans just completed the upset of the Spurs and someone has to score on that squad regardless. Bey has been that guy lately for them. He’s hit the over in three straight and it averaging 26.7 points per game in that span. Despite averaging just 12.2 shot attempts per game, he’s taken 15.7 per game in that time. We’ll ride that newfound volume to an over here.
Royce O’Neale – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+123)
The Suns had a really bad day from beyond the arc last time out. Against the Heat, they shot just 20% from deep and only made seven shots. However, what gives me hope here for O’Neale is that despite how bad they were shooting, they just kept shooting. O’Neale ended the game with seven attempts, which would typically be enough for him to hit this. Devin Booker will be out again and the Nets are giving up 16.7 three-pointers per game over the last three.
