Now that the UFC has broken the seal on their 2026 and ‘The Paramount+ Era’, they aren’t wasting any time, hosting their second straight numbered-event (nee pay-per-view) this Saturday. For my MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC 325, we’re headed to Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, for a winner from the main event. Let’s go!

MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC 325
UFC 324: Volkanovski vs Lopes 2
Main Card Start Time: 9:00 PM EST (Paramount+)
As the title of this event hints at, we’ve got a rematch for our main event this week, with Alexander Volkanovski defending his UFC Featherweight Championship for the second time against Diego Lopes. This is an immediate rematch for Volkanovski, as he has not fought since defeating Lopes last April.
The champ dominated the first meeting, and I expect him to do the same on Saturday, as is almost always the case in immediate rematches. Lopes does have a puncher’s (kicker’s, knee-er’s…) chance at landing a knockout blow, but the smart money is on Volkanovski shutting him down once again, this time in front of his home crowd.
