Daily NBA Player Props – January 23rd
Jaylen Brown – Over 41.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-121)
Brown has been a beast on the boards for the Celtics recently. He has back-to-back games with double digit rebounds, which would give him a really easy path to the over here. Not only that, but he’s back on a run of 30+ point games again. He has three straight and against far better defenses than what we see in Brooklyn. They’re giving up 123.0 points per game over their last three games, which should provide Brown with plenty of opportunities in this one.
Jaren Jackson Jr. – Over 21.5 Points (-120)
The Grizzlies are looking at a depleted lineup on Friday with Ja Morant, Santi Aldama, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Zech Edey all on the shelf. Jaren Jackson Jr. is likely going to have to step up on offense and lead the team. In the six-game stretch that Morant missed earlier this month, Jackson averaged 20.2 points. That was capped off by a 30-point game against the Magic. He has even less supporting characters to help him this time around and New Orleans ranks 28th in defensive scoring.
Domantas Sabonis – Over 8.5 Rebounds (+108)
This banged up version of Sabonis has been hit or miss this year. However, lately he has been a lot more hit than miss. After struggling to get busy on the boards in the first game back, he’s putting up 9.0 rebounds per game. He’s gained in that category every time out and is up into double figures now. While the Kings seem to be erring on the side of caution with him, he is coming off a rest game against a below average rebounding team in Cleveland.
