Philadelphia Flyers vs Utah Mammoth
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
We’ve got a short slate of NHL games tomorrow, so I’ve settled on a play with a moneyline a little higher than I normally use for my best bet, but a winner is a winner, right?! And a winner is what I have when the Philadelphia Flyers visit the Utah Mammoth in Salt Lake City tomorrow night.
The Mammoth continue the trend of expansion teams jumping out to strong starts in the NHL, as they are on pace for 90 points this season after managing 89 in their inaugural season last year. This season, it’s all about the defense for Utah, as they are allowing the fifth-fewest goals in the NHL. And they are strong in front of their home fans, sporting a 14-7-2 home record, seventh-best in the NHL.
The Flyers are having a good season, as well, and are a strong road team. But the Mammoth is the better team in this matchup, and they are at home. Utah on the moneyline is my best bet for Wednesday.
