The Colorado Avalanche continue to have the hottest scorer in the NHL, and his name continues to not be Nathan MacKinnon. Nope, the league’s leading scorer, MacKinnon, is being upstaged by a teammate.
That would be veteran Brock Nelson, who has scored 10 goals over his past 10 games, bringing his season total up to 24 goals, only two behind the amount he scored in 80 games last season.
New York Rangers vs Anaheim Ducks
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
The Anaheim Ducks are having another strong season this year, but they can not for the life of them keep the puck out of their own net. The Ducks have given up the second-most goals in the league.
And the New York Rangers’ Mika Zibanejad is hot heading into Anaheim, with nine goals in his last 10 games, and six over his last five, including a hat trick last time out. The 32-year-old center has 21 goals after only managing 20 last season, and is on pace for his first 30+ goal season since 2022/23.
