The best in the NFC North, the Chicago Bears, host the second-place team from the NFC West, the Los Angeles Rams, tomorrow afternoon with a spot in the NFC Championship Game on the line. This is quite a turnaround for a Bears franchise that won five games last season and hadn’t made the playoffs since 2020.
However, the good vibes end tomorrow for the Bears and their fans. While they just sneaked by a mediocre Carolina Panthers team in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, the Rams are an elite team this season, with advanced stats ranking them as the second-best team in the league this year.
There’s no category where Chicago is superior to Los Angeles, not strength of schedule, offense, or defense. The only thing that the Bears can cling to is that the Rams are only 5-4 away from Los Angeles this season.
My line is Los Angeles -9, so I like the Rams to cover the spread for us tomorrow as my best bet.
