Divisional Weekend Anytime Touchdowns

RJ Harvey (-135)

First up on the list of players I’m circling for the Divisional Weekend anytime touchdown bets is R.J. Harvey at -135. The Broncos got a little rest during the wild-card round since they were the number one seed. Now they’ll test their playoff readiness by taking on the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills upset the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-24 last weekend. However, their run defense wasn’t great. They allowed starting running back Travis Etienne 6.7 yards per carry, plus five catches for 49 yards, and a touchdown.

While I think the Bills win this game, I do think there will be plenty of points scored against their defense. That will start with RJ Harvey, who has had double-digit carries in six of the Broncos’ last seven games. He’s also scored six touchdowns in the last seven games. Harvey and this young team will be ready and hungry to prove themselves.

Puka Nacua (-115)

My next pick among my NFL Divisional Weekend anytime touchdown bets is Puka Nacua at -115. The Rams won a shootout against the Panthers last week, 34-31. Puka Nacua had two touchdowns. One was a rushing touchdown, one a receiving touchdown. He had three carries for 14 yards and 10 receptions for 111 yards. The next closest in receptions was Davante Adams, who had five. Everybody else had two or fewer.

Puka is the top target for Matthew Stafford. Stafford will utilize him often to carve up the Bears’ defense, especially in the first half. Jordan Love threw four touchdown passes against the Bears to four different receivers. Matt Stafford is a much better quarterback than Jordan Love.

The Bears’ defense has been hit-and-miss all year. They get burned in the first half before hunkering down and stopping quarterbacks in the second half. Puka Nacua is averaging 12 targets per game over the last eight games, including 16 targets last week. Puka will get in the endzone this weekend in the Rams’ loss to the Bears.

Colston Loveland (+200)

We’ll continue our list of NFL Divisional Weekend anytime touchdowns with Colston Loveland at +200. Talk about a wild performance from a rookie. Loveland became the first rookie to ever have 8+ catches and 130+ yards in a playoff game. In the past three games, Loveland has 24 catches on 38 targets for 322 yards and two touchdowns.

The Rams’ defense is solid. However, Caleb Williams and the Bears have been on fire. They are averaging 26 points per game over the last eight games and continue to produce huge numbers. Williams broke Bears’ passing records for the regular season (most yards, most touchdowns) and in the postseason (most yards in a playoff game).

Look for him to continue to put the team on his back and try to keep their streak going. That all starts with his current favorite target, his bailout player, Colston Loveland.

Courtland Sutton (+210)

Next up on our list of NFL Divisional Weekend anytime touchdowns is Courtland Sutton at +210. I know, I know. He’s not exactly been consistent with his performances this year. In some games, he has seven catches for 110 yards and a touchdown, while in others, he has one catch for five yards.

However, this is a veteran play. The Broncos are filled with young players, including Bo Nix, RJ Harvey, and Troy Franklin, on offense. They’ll need some veteran leadership at some point in this game to help calm them down and help right the ship. That veteran presence will be Courtland Sutton.

Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars passed for three touchdowns last week against the Bills’ defense. All three touchdowns were caught by different players. Bo Nix will look to lean on his veteran. In fact, if you don’t count the game against the Chargers in Week 18, Nix has been relying on him. In the four games prior to Week 18, he was averaging ten targets a game. Look for a similar stat line in this divisional showdown.

Jake Tonges (+330)

Last on the list of NFL Divisional Round Weekend anytime touchdowns is Jake Tonges at +330. George Kittle is out for the season with a torn Achilles. If you go all the way back to Week 1 of this NFL season, the 49ers and Seahawks battled it out. The 49ers won, 17-13, and one of the touchdowns was to none other than Jake Tonges.

He went on to score four touchdowns early in the year when George Kittle missed time with an injury. It was impressive how he was able to step in and still make an impact, trying to fill the massive shoes of George Kittle. Now, he’ll look to continue filling big shoes in the divisional round of the playoffs.

The 49ers are going to have to pass the ball in what should be a battle, and Kyle Shanahan does a good job utilizing the tight end position, no matter who is healthy.
