LA Clippers vs Detroit Pistons
Start Time – 7:30 PM EST
For once, it’s not the LA Clippers with key players listed as questionable heading into a matchup; instead, it’s their opponents, the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons will be missing Jalen Duren tomorrow night, and Cade Cunningham may be joining him in street clothes.
Despite some recent encouraging signs, the Clippers are still not a good basketball team, especially on the road, so I’m going with the Pistons and hoping that Cade suits up. My line is Detroit -11.5.

San Antonio Spurs vs Boston Celtics
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
We get our first meeting of one of the Eastern Conference’s best teams, the Boston Celtics, and one of the West’s best, the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are ahead of schedule, and the Celtics are refusing to take a ‘gap year’ this season.
Despite playing on Friday night (they beat the Toronto Raptors at home), the Celtics are my pick in this game. My line is Boston -1.5, so getting the Celtics as a home dog is fine by me.
