Nathan MacKinnon’s ‘slump’ has allowed another player to jump to the top of the hottest goal scorers list, and it’s a familiar name – the Edmonton Oilers’ Connor McDavid.
McDavid vowed to score more goals this season, and he’s lived up to that promise. He’s lit the lamp 10 times over his last 10 games, and has 28 on the season, second only to MacKinnon.
Ottawa Senators vs Colorado Avalanche

Now for that MacKinnon guy. The bookies apparently don’t believe I can jinx him for a third straight game, because he’s been set at -120 to score against the Ottawa Senators tomorrow night.
MacKinnon ‘only’ has nine goals over his last 10 games, which is only slightly better than the 68-goal pace he is on this season, after only topping the 50-goal mark once in his lofty career thus far.
