Indiana Pacers vs Charlotte Hornets
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
There just might be some life in this Charlotte Hornets team. Or, at the very least, they aren’t a total dumpster fire like they were the past four seasons. While the Hornets suffered a one-point loss to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night, I think they’ll bounce back tomorrow night on their home floor.
That’s because the Indiana Pacers are in town. The Pacers are 1-16 on the road and are way worse this season than expected. My line is Charlotte -7.5, so the Hornets on the spread is my play.
Best Bet: Charlotte -3.5 (-110)
Dallas Mavericks vs Utah Jazz
Start Time – 9:00 PM EST
The Utah Jazz are also slightly improved this season, which isn’t the highest hurdle to clear when you’re coming off a 17-win season. The Jazz are only five wins away from that total already this year.
They’re hard to trust because they are still in ‘lose now’ mode, but I like the Jazz tomorrow night with the Dallas Mavericks in town. My line is Utah -1.5, so I’ll take them as a home dog for sure.
