Daily NBA Player Props – January 6th
Bam Adebayo – Under 28.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118)
Adebayo is a player who I have liked quite a bit this year, but recently he’s just not getting on the scoreboard enough. In his last six games, those numbers on the board have resulted in him going 0-6 against this line. Playing a team like the Magic, there is a chance he breaks back out with the points, which is why I like the PRA play here. We’ve seen a slight downtick in his recounds as well, which should assure that this one does not go over.
Pascal Siakam – Under 36.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-111)
Bucking my usual trend, I’m going with another under on the PRA. The first big reason is that Siakam is 3-6 against this line in his last nine games, which is already not a good start. In addition to that, he is just 1-6 against it when scoring under 30 points in a game. Cleveland is tough on the low block, allowing right around 9.0 points per game against centers and power forwards. While Siakam will take the lion’s share of those points for both positions, it’s not enough for him to fill out that PRA.
Trey Murphy III – Over 5.5 Rebounds (-102)
While he might not be the first name you think of when you think of rebounds, Murphy III has been quietly rackikng up the overs on the boards. He has four straight overs and is averaging 6.5 rebounds per game in that span. The Lakers are a solid squad when it comes to grabbing boards, but Murphy managed to grab seven against them the first time they played this year. Look for a similar number on Tuesday.
