There may be only four games on the NHL schedule tomorrow, but it’s still a special day because one of those games is the league’s annual Winter Classic. NHL Goal Scorer Parlay For Friday (January 2nd): NHL Predictions
New York Rangers vs Florida Panthers
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
We start things off at the aforementioned Winter Classic, where the NHL has put to bed any concerns about the temperature at rinkside during the game. Which is good, because we want pristine ice so Sam Reinhart can keep up his hot streak.
The Florida Panthers’ center has seven goals over his last 10 games, bringing his season total up to 22. While he probably won’t top his career high of 57, he has a good shot at eclipsing last year’s 39 goals scored.
Minnesota Wild vs Anaheim Ducks
Start Time: 10:30 PM EST
We go from one hot climate to another, but at least this game will be played indoors in California. The Anaheim Ducks have the second-worst defense in the NHL, which is good news for us since we’re adding a Minnesota Wild player to our parlay.
That player would be Matt Boldy, who has eight goals over his last 10 as he continues to have a career year in his fifth season in the league.
