OKTAGON 82: Engizek vs Jotko
Start Time: Noon EST January 17th (OKTAGON TV)
The MMA world is especially quiet right now, with all of the big year-end events having taken place, and none of the bigger promotions running for the next couple of weeks. Czech promotion OKTAGON kicks off their new year with a big event going down in Germany on January 17th, with the finals of their middleweight tournament headlining the card.
And what a matchup it is, pitting former UFC fighter Krzysztof Jotko against current OKTAGON Middleweight Champion Kerim Engizek. I’m going with Jotko, who has been on a tear since leaving the UFC. But this is a close fight, and Jotko isn’t a big finisher, so I like him to win via decision.
