Los Angeles Rams vs Atlanta Falcons

We’ve got a bit of a squash match lined up for Monday Night Football this week, as the best team in the league (based on advanced stats), the 11-4 Los Angeles Rams, heads to the dirty south to face the 6-9 (nice) Atlanta Falcons. Despite having a playoff spot locked up, this is still a crucial game in terms of seeding for the Rams, as a loss would lock them out of a top-four spot in the postseason.
Which is good news for me, since I’m taking the Rams. The fact that they’ll still have motivation to play their best makes me more confident in my pick. Plus, not only are the Falcons grossly overmatched, but they are also severely undermanned due to injuries. And the home-field advantage hasn’t added up to much for Atlanta this season, as they’ve gone 2-4 in front of their home fans.
My line for tomorrow is Los Angeles -15.5, so I like the Rams to cover the spread.
